Key Account Manager - Pharmaceutical Sales (Futura Division)
ROLE OVERVIEW
Abbott's Established Pharmaceutical Division (EPD) is seeking a Key Account Manager for its Futura portfolio in the Jaipur territory. This is a front-line commercial role at the heart of Abbott's branded-generics strategy in India, where sustained growth depends on winning prescriber confidence across Rajasthan's fast-expanding tier-2 healthcare ecosystem. The position owns territory-level sales targets, prescription generation and market-share expansion for a mature, high-volume product basket, working directly with doctors, chemists and stockists. Because the role operates with genuine field autonomy and daily exposure to clinicians, it offers an unusually strong launchpad: successful incumbents build a demonstrable revenue record, deep therapy-area credibility and internal visibility that feeds Abbott's area management and brand-marketing pipelines. For candidates from MNC or leading Indian pharma backgrounds, it is a compelling opportunity to inherit an established territory while applying modern, data-led coverage and frequency discipline.
ROLE DEFINITION & RESPONSIBILITIES
- •Achieve assigned territory and geography sales targets for the Futura portfolio on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
- •Execute structured field work independently, planning daily call routes across assigned doctors, chemists and stockists.
- •Generate maximum prescriptions and grow market share for promoted brands within the defined therapy area.
- •Promote division products strictly in line with approved strategy, messaging and promotional compliance norms.
- •Build durable relationships with prescribers, retail chemists and distributors to secure availability and advocacy.
- •Report daily field activity and call outcomes accurately on the assigned online SFA/CRM system.
- •Meet Call Average, Coverage and Frequency Coverage (CFC) norms set for the division every working cycle.
- •Contribute local market intelligence and competitor insights to support regional strategy building.

- Fluent, confident communication in English and the local regional language.
- Willingness to travel up to 100% of working time and remain standing for prolonged periods during field work.
- Valid two-wheeler or four-wheeler driving licence and readiness to relocate within the territory.
