Territory Business Manager – Osvita (Women's Health)
ROLE OVERVIEW
Abbott's Established Pharmaceuticals Division (EPD) is one of the company's fastest-growing commercial engines in India, and the Territory Business Manager role for the Ambala territory sits at the frontline of that growth. Osvita is a flagship women's health brand within Abbott's EPD portfolio, and the person in this seat owns prescription generation, share of voice and stockist-to-chemist availability across a defined geography. This is a genuinely high-autonomy commercial role: you plan your own call list, manage relationships with gynaecologists, general practitioners, chemists and stockists, and see the direct commercial impact of your effort every single month. For candidates who want a structured MNC career with strong field coaching, performance-linked incentives and a clear ladder into area and regional management, this is a compelling entry point into pharmaceutical brand building.
ROLE DEFINITION & RESPONSIBILITIES
- •Deliver assigned monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets for the Osvita brand across the Ambala territory.
- •Execute structured daily field work without direct supervision, typically 12–15 doctor calls per day, covering clinics, hospitals and retail chemists.
- •Log every call, order and stockist visit in Abbott's online Sales Force Automation (SFA) system on the same day.
- •Meet divisional norms for call average, coverage and frequency to maintain consistent share of voice with prescribers.
- •Drive prescription generation and market-share growth among gynaecologists, GPs and consulting physicians through scientific detailing.
- •Build and sustain relationships with doctors, chemists, stockists and hospital pharmacy stakeholders as a trusted brand partner.
- •Track competitor activity, pricing and new launches, feeding actionable territory intelligence into divisional strategy.
- •Manage stockist inventory, order placement and near-expiry stock to keep the brand consistently available across the channel.
