ROLE DEFINITION & RESPONSIBILITIES
- •Implement the India medical plan for pipeline assets in Specialty Care and Internal Medicine, aligning local execution with global and regional strategy.
- •Deliver balanced, evidence-based scientific presentations to HCPs, KOLs and payers through advisory boards, congress symposia and CME programmes.
- •Coordinate local real-world evidence studies, investigator-initiated trials and post-marketing surveillance in line with SOPs and CDSCO requirements.
- •Support launch readiness through KOL mapping, medical content development and scientific training for field and cross-functional teams.
- •Review promotional and non-promotional materials for scientific accuracy and compliance with OPPI, CDSCO and Pfizer internal standards.
- •Partner with commercial, regulatory, clinical and market access colleagues to ensure integrated, compliant execution of medical activities.
- •Capture and communicate medical insights and competitor intelligence to shape strategy, content and evidence-generation priorities.
- •Maintain therapeutic-area mastery in oncology and vaccines, applying AI-enabled tools to streamline medical information workflows.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- MD in any clinical discipline; an additional qualification such as a diploma in pharmaceutical medicine is an advantage.
- 4–6 years of Medical Affairs experience within a multinational pharmaceutical organisation, ideally in oncology, vaccines or specialty care.
- Proven exposure to product launches and pre-launch medical planning in the Indian market.
- Working knowledge of drug discovery, clinical development, commercialisation and Indian promotional regulations.
- Demonstrated understanding of clinical trial design, methodology, conduct and the interfaces between medical, regulatory and commercial functions.
- Strong medical writing, presentation and analytical reasoning capability with sound clinical judgement.
- Fluency in English and strong stakeholder-influencing skills across internal and external networks.
