ROLE OVERVIEW
Medical Affairs role focused on scientific engagement, therapeutic-area insights, medical projects, KOL development, medico-marketing strategy, product registration support and medical labeling activities.
ROLE DEFINITION & RESPONSIBILITIES
- •Build knowledge of treatment practices, trends and therapies through customer engagement, scientific symposia and literature review
- •communicate credible non-promotional scientific information to internal and external stakeholders
- •execute medical projects including IIS studies
- •implement local medico-marketing strategies
- •identify and engage key experts and provide KOL development insights to management
- •support registration of new products or indications with scientific presentations and literature support
- •contribute to development and review of labeling documents
- •support Regulatory Affairs by facilitating access to external experts

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Medical degree in Pharmacology
- preferably 4-5 years of Medical Affairs or pharmaceutical/healthcare industry experience
- excellent interpersonal skills
- basic MS Office knowledge
- ability to provide scientific expertise and medical communication
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- •10+ years of relevant field-based experience with strong scientific expertise may be preferable for professionals without a doctoral qualification
- •diabetes therapy-area expertise
- •experience with IIS studies, product registration or medical labeling
