ROLE OVERVIEW
Field-based Medical Science Liaison role supporting Haematology and Oncology through scientific engagement with Thought Leaders and Healthcare Providers. The role focuses on medical insights, evidence-based scientific dialogue, clinical trial support, pharmacovigilance, and execution of the country medical strategy.
ROLE DEFINITION & RESPONSIBILITIES
- •Develop and maintain scientific interactions with Thought Leaders, Healthcare Providers, and access stakeholders
- •Execute territory medical interaction and Thought Leader plans aligned with medical strategy
- •Present scientifically accurate and balanced clinical information while following ethical, legal, and local procedures
- •Assess the Haematology and Oncology medical landscape and identify unmet needs, treatment developments, and clinical activities
- •Collect and communicate actionable medical insights to the medical organization
- •Report adverse events and other safety information according to BMS pharmacovigilance procedures
- •Support medical programs, internal scientific training, and cross-functional stakeholders
- •Support interventional and non-interventional research activities, including site feasibility and investigator engagement
Reporting Hierarchy: Reports to local Medical/Field Medical management; Collaborates with Medical Affairs, Clinical Development, Pharmacovigilance, Regulatory, Legal, HEOR, Market Access, and Commercial stakeholders

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- MBBS, MD, BDS, MDS, or PharmD
- 1-2 years of field medical experience in Medical Affairs preferred
- Experience working in a scientific or clinical research environment
- Strong spoken and written English
- Strong communication and scientific presentation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- •Haematology and Oncology therapy-area experience
- •Knowledge of clinical trial design and processes
- •Knowledge of Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR) concepts
- •Understanding of national healthcare and access environment
- •Experience developing peer-to-peer relationships with Thought Leaders and healthcare professionals
