ROLE OVERVIEW
Medical Affairs role providing scientific and technical expertise in Hepatology, supporting scientific engagement, medical education, research activities, pharmacovigilance, and brand strategy across the assigned region.
ROLE DEFINITION & RESPONSIBILITIES
- •Develop and maintain credible relationships with relevant HCPs
- •Plan and conduct CMEs, symposia, trainings, workshops, scientific meetings and speaker tours
- •Deliver consistent on-label scientific presentations and support medical education activities
- •Support Scientific Engagement activities according to Medical Plans and promotional requirements
- •Maintain expert-level knowledge of Hepatology, GSK molecules and product information
- •Support feasibility assessment and development of research proposals, budgets and field-study tools
- •Provide medical inputs into brand strategy and execution
- •Support Hepatology pharmacovigilance activities and maintain required safety knowledge

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- MBBS with postgraduate qualification
- 1-2 years of pharmaceutical industry experience, preferably in Hepatology or Gastroenterology
- Strong written and oral English and local-language communication skills
- Experience presenting scientific topics
- Understanding of ICH-GCP and internal SOPs
- Understanding of scientific methods and experimental design
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- •Postgraduate qualification in Pharmacology or Public Health
- •MD specialization in Pharmacology, Paediatrics, General Medicine, Community Medicine or related field
- •1-2 years in a similar Medical Affairs role
- •Relevant Hepatology or Gastroenterology therapy-area experience
