ROLE OVERVIEW
Serve as a regional scientific and medical expert in Oncology, with a focus on Breast Cancer, building scientific partnerships, generating insights and supporting evidence-based medical strategy to improve patient outcomes and access to quality care.
ROLE DEFINITION & RESPONSIBILITIES
- •Engage healthcare and research professionals and relevant stakeholders in medically informed scientific discussions
- •Maintain current expertise in disease-state management, AstraZeneca medicines, emerging therapies and competitive landscape
- •Support development and execution of medical strategic plans
- •Act as a subject-matter authority and support training and mentoring
- •Lead peer-to-peer scientific dialogue and provide evidence-based presentations and educational sessions
- •Identify and maintain relationships with scientific leaders, key customers and investigators
- •Plan and facilitate MSL meetings, symposia, scientific exchanges, advisory boards and other medical events
- •Identify, analyse and synthesize external scientific insights into actionable recommendations
- •Support study proposals, externally sponsored research, local studies and publications
- •Provide customer-based insights for therapeutic, product and clinical-development planning
- •Identify patient-journey gaps and support scalable patient-centric solutions
- •Ensure adherence to pharmacovigilance, GxP, GCP, ethical-interaction, SOP and regulatory requirements
