ROLE OVERVIEW
The Medical Science Liaison will serve as a scientific and medical resource for oncology thought leaders across the West region. The role focuses on scientific exchange, clinical-trial support, medical education, advisory boards, congress engagement, and strategic thought-leader engagement.
ROLE DEFINITION & RESPONSIBILITIES
- •Exchange and disseminate scientific, educational, and research information with oncology thought leaders
- •Provide scientific clarification and education on study protocols, meeting abstracts, professional literature, and approved scientific data
- •Participate in company-sponsored and investigator-initiated clinical research activities
- •Respond to medical and scientific queries from medical societies and support advisory boards
- •Attend congresses and conventions to engage thought leaders and gather competitive intelligence
- •Plan and organize scientific training and education activities within the oncology therapeutic area
- •Contribute to thought-leader identification, profiling, segmentation, and engagement planning
- •Prepare timely reports and track activities against agreed objectives

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- MD, MBBS, BDS, or MDS qualification
- Minimum one year of experience in the Oncology therapy area, specifically solid tumors
- Basic knowledge of oncology and related molecules
- Basic understanding of clinical-trial design and rationale
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Ability to build productive relationships with internal and external thought leaders
- Excellent presentation, written, and verbal communication skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- •Experience in Medical Affairs or MSL activities
