ROLE OVERVIEW
Lead data operations within Premier Research’s Functional Services Provider team, combining people leadership, data acquisition project management, quality oversight and customer relationship management to support clinical research programs.
ROLE DEFINITION & RESPONSIBILITIES
- •Recruit and line-manage data acquisition staff, including resourcing, performance management and employee development
- •Manage data acquisition projects to maintain quality and customer service standards
- •Analyze and resolve quality and customer service issues and identify trends
- •Recommend system and process improvements based on operational findings
- •Build and maintain long-term customer relationships and continuously exceed expectations
- •Administer compensation activities for direct reports and recommend promotions or market adjustments
- •Represent the data acquisition team during audits and corporate initiatives
- •Provide mentoring, training and hands-on support for data management, database development and study-related activities
Reporting Hierarchy: Reports to the relevant Data Operations/Functional Services Provider leadership; manages data acquisition staff and collaborates with customers, project teams and corporate functions

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Professional experience in data operations or clinical research services
- Experience managing or supervising data acquisition or data-management teams
- Ability to manage projects while maintaining quality and customer-service standards
- Strong problem-solving, trend-analysis and process-improvement capability
- Strong communication and customer relationship-management skills
- Willingness to travel overnight for business, up to 20%
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- •Experience in clinical data management or database development
- •Experience working within an FSP model
- •Audit or regulated clinical research experience
- •Prior experience in biotech, medtech or specialty pharmaceutical environments
