ROLE OVERVIEW
Lead and build the Drug Product Technologies organization at Amgen Hyderabad, driving process development, digital transformation, and global biotech deliverables.
ROLE DEFINITION & RESPONSIBILITIES
- •Build and lead the Drug Product Technologies organization at AIN, establishing a high-performing team
- •Establish AIN as an integrated extension of the global DPT organization by defining roles and operating models
- •Develop and scale team capabilities across technical documentation, regulatory authoring, and data analytics
- •Champion digital transformation across DPT workflows by partnering with Technology and Data/AI teams
- •Set strategic priorities, project timelines, and execution plans for key initiatives
- •Recruit, onboard, coach, and develop talent, fostering an inclusive culture of accountability
- •Plan and manage resources, including budget, contractors, and staff, to ensure effective delivery
Reporting Hierarchy: Reports to Executive Director, Process Development • Team size: DPT Organization (Large Matrix Team)
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Doctorate degree and 8 years of drug product biotech experience OR Master’s degree and 15 years OR Bachelor’s degree and 20 years
- 4 years of managerial experience directly managing people or leading teams/programs
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- •14+ years of drug product process development or manufacturing experience
- •Advanced Degree in Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related discipline
- •Knowledge of cGMP regulations and regulatory filings
