ROLE OVERVIEW
Sanofi is looking for an Expert Scientific Writer in Hyderabad to produce complex publication and medical education content for its Business Operations team. The role involves independent content development, mentoring other writers, and working with medical and scientific stakeholders across assigned therapeutic areas.
ROLE DEFINITION & RESPONSIBILITIES
- •Produce complex, specialised scientific content independently and manage the end-to-end publication and medical education development process, including documentation and approval in PromoMats/iEnvision.
- •Develop and maintain therapeutic area, process and compliance expertise.
- •Coach senior and junior scientific writers and review their content.
- •Collaborate with peers on best practices and work closely with stakeholders.
- •Maintain effective relationships with medical and scientific stakeholders in the assigned global business unit and product.
- •Interact with healthcare professionals on publication content.
- •Deliver slide decks, abstracts, posters and manuscripts to agreed timelines and quality.
- •Support publication-need analysis, implement the regional annual publication plan, and coordinate with selected vendors.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Advanced degree in life sciences, pharmacy or a similar discipline, or a medical degree.
- 7+ years of experience in content creation for the pharmaceutical/healthcare industry, or academia.
- More than 4 years of experience leading a therapeutic area.
- Excellent knowledge of English, spoken and written.
