ROLE OVERVIEW
Join Sanofi's Business Operations team as a Principal Scientific Writer to lead complex medical communications, publication plans, and scientific content creation across key therapeutic areas.
ROLE DEFINITION & RESPONSIBILITIES
- •Develop complex scientific and medical communication deliverables including manuscripts, posters, abstracts, and slide decks
- •Manage end-to-end publication workflows including documentation and compliance approval in PromoMats and iEnvision
- •Partner with global medical leads to draft strategic communication objectives and publication plans
- •Coach, review, and mentor junior and senior scientific writers to ensure high standards of scientific accuracy
- •Interact directly with Healthcare Professionals (HCPs) and external authors during the content development process
- •Drive process improvements, standardization, and digital transformation initiatives across medical writing teams
- •Ensure strict adherence to GPP (Good Publication Practice) guidelines and Sanofi internal compliance protocols
- •Support team leads with budget estimations, publication needs analyses, and resource allocation discussions

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 9+ years of medical writing and medical communication experience within pharma, healthcare, or agency environments
- Advanced degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, MBBS, MD, or PhD
- Expert knowledge of publication management tools such as PromoMats, iEnvision, or Datavision
- Demonstrated track record of managing end-to-end scientific publications and manuscript submissions
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- •4+ years of leadership, team management, or scientific coaching experience
- •Deep expertise in specific therapeutic areas such as Immunology, Oncology, or Vaccines
- •Proven ability to build digital transformation solutions within medical communications
