ROLE OVERVIEW
Manage medication dispensing and patient counseling as a Pharmacist at Global Health City in Chennai.
ROLE DEFINITION & RESPONSIBILITIES
- •Dispense prescription medications and medical supplies accurately to patients and hospital wards
- •Verify prescriptions for dosage, drug interactions, and contraindications
- •Maintain inventory levels, monitor drug expiry dates, and manage stock replenishment
- •Provide clear counseling to patients on proper medication usage, side effects, and storage
- •Ensure compliance with hospital pharmacy policies, regulatory standards, and safety guidelines
Reporting Hierarchy: Reports to Chief Pharmacist • Team size: 6-10 pharmacy staff

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm) or Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm)
- Valid state pharmacy council registration
- Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical products and drug interactions
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- •Experience working in a multi-specialty hospital pharmacy
- •Proficiency in Hospital Information Systems (HIS) and pharmacy software
- •Familiarity with NABH accreditation standards
