ROLE OVERVIEW
Lead orthopedic patient care, complex surgeries, and advanced joint replacement procedures at Fortis Flt. Lt. Rajan Dhall Hospital.
ROLE DEFINITION & RESPONSIBILITIES
- •Perform complex orthopedic surgeries including joint replacements and trauma management
- •Conduct specialized outpatient orthopedic clinics
- •Manage preoperative and postoperative patient care
- •Supervise and mentor junior doctors, residents, and clinical staff
- •Participate in hospital quality, NABH, and clinical audit initiatives
- •Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient rehabilitation
- •Engage in clinical research and continuous medical education programs
Reporting Hierarchy: Reports to Director of Medical Services • Department size: 10-15 clinical specialists

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- MS/DNB in Orthopaedics
- Valid Medical Council registration
- Minimum 5+ years of post-qualification experience as a Consultant Orthopedic Surgeon
- Proven expertise in joint replacement and arthroscopic procedures
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- •Fellowship in Joint Replacement or Arthroscopy
- •Publications in peer-reviewed medical journals
- •Experience with hospital information systems (HIS/EHR)
