ROLE OVERVIEW
Lead gynecological oncology care at Fortis Hospital Anandapur, Kolkata, delivering expert diagnosis, advanced surgical interventions, and compassionate patient management.
ROLE DEFINITION & RESPONSIBILITIES
- •Diagnose and treat benign and malignant tumors of the female reproductive system
- •Perform complex oncological surgeries including radical hysterectomies and debulking procedures
- •Develop and implement comprehensive multidisciplinary cancer treatment plans
- •Coordinate with medical and radiation oncologists for integrated patient care
- •Participate in clinical research, tumor boards, and academic teaching programs
- •Counsel patients and their families regarding treatment options, prognosis, and palliative care
- •Maintain rigorous clinical documentation and adherence to hospital quality protocols

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Post Graduation (MS/DNB in Obstetrics & Gynecology followed by M.Ch/DNB/Fellowship in Gynecological Oncology)
- Valid medical council registration
- Extensive clinical experience in gynae-oncology surgery and management
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- •Publications in peer-reviewed medical journals
- •Experience with robotic and minimally invasive oncological procedures
- •Active participation in national or international oncology societies
