ROLE OVERVIEW
Sanofi is hiring a Team Lead for Scientific Writing at its Global Hub in Hyderabad to lead a group of expert and senior writers. The role combines therapeutic-area strategy, publication and medical education planning, and day-to-day people and process leadership.
ROLE DEFINITION & RESPONSIBILITIES
- •Give functional and operational direction to assigned therapeutic areas and processes, and act as a strategic thought partner to the therapeutic area scientific communication lead.
- •Lead a team of expert and senior writers and coach them on content, methods and processes.
- •Provide input to publication and communication plans and ensure deliverables are completed on agreed timelines and to quality.
- •Develop and maintain therapeutic area expertise and stay current with key industry trends and developments.
- •Work with regional and area scientific communication teams to identify publication needs and help develop assigned deliverables.
- •Support project delivery in terms of resourcing, quality, timeliness, efficiency and technical standards for scientific documents and clinical/medical reports.
- •Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory standards and internal operational risk controls.
- •Lead or support the creation of tools, technology and processes to improve quality and productivity, and apply advanced training methods.
- •Maintain effective relationships with end stakeholders in the medical scientific community to develop education and communication content.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Advanced degree in life sciences, pharmacy or a similar discipline, or a medical degree
- 9+ years of experience in content creation for the pharmaceutical/healthcare industry or academia
- More than 6 years of experience in a leadership role
- Ability to influence and negotiate
- Excellent knowledge of English (spoken and written)
