ROLE OVERVIEW
This role provides scientific content and medical communications support for HEVA and PDMD at Sanofi Business Operations in Hyderabad. It covers publication planning, scientific review, expert engagement and cross-functional coordination for assigned products and disease areas.
ROLE DEFINITION & RESPONSIBILITIES
- •Support integrated scientific expert engagement strategy across congresses, scientific events, medical education, dissemination and multichannel engagement for assigned therapy areas and products.
- •Help execute scientific dissemination, expert engagement and medical multichannel plans globally and in countries, including customer-facing initiatives that reflect patient-centric perspectives and patient-reported outcomes.
- •Track emerging digital technologies in healthcare and pharmaceuticals, and test ideas or channels through proof of concept.
- •Support expert network expansion through KOL mapping, identification, profiling and segmentation, and harmonise these activities with regions and countries.
- •Maintain relationships with internal stakeholders, KOLs, scientific and academic societies, patient advocacy groups, and medical communication or strategy companies; attend medical meetings, advisory boards and outreach meetings.
- •Support scientific publication plans and medical communications for assigned products and disease areas, including HEVA and PDMD outputs such as patient-reported outcomes, qualitative patient studies and real-world evidence.
- •Review manuscripts, abstracts, posters, slide decks and value communication documents for scientific and clinical accuracy before stakeholder circulation.
- •Oversee timely delivery of medical communications, publication projects, internal education resources and digital enhancements with scientific writers and occasionally external agencies; provide editorial guidance, quality control and project management.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- More than 8 years of experience in the pharmaceutical or related healthcare industry.
- 2–3 years of understanding scientific publication and medical communications strategy, planning and execution.
- Experience across drug development phases and post-launch or marketed products.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- •Hands-on experience in peer reviewing scientific manuscripts, qualitative patient research, or HEVA/PDMD deliverables is highly desirable.
