EXPECTED CAREER ROADMAP

From this role, a successful Squad Lead can progress to Cluster Head, Disease Area Lead or Commercial Director within Roche India, owning larger therapy portfolios and national strategy. The exposure to ophthalmology, key accounts, cross-functional squads and strategic partnerships builds a strong foundation for country-level commercial leadership. Alternatively, professionals may move into Market Access Director, Therapy Area Head or Business Unit Head roles at other multinational pharma, biotech or med-tech organisations. The role also strengthens credentials for global commercial excellence, launch excellence or patient access positions. Continued delivery of outcome-based plans, people development and compliant growth will accelerate promotion timelines, typically within 2–4 years for high performers.

Expect interview questions on disease-area strategy, corporate account penetration, compliance dilemmas and Roche’s VACC leadership principles.
