Therapy Business Manager – Neurolife (CNS Sales)
ROLE OVERVIEW
Abbott's Established Pharmaceuticals Division (EPD) is expanding its Neurolife franchise across Chhattisgarh, and the Therapy Business Manager role in Durg sits at the front line of that growth. Neurolife covers Abbott's central nervous system portfolio — products prescribed for epilepsy, neuropathic pain, migraine prophylaxis and mood disorders — making the territory manager the critical link between brand strategy and real-world patient outcomes. This is a high-ownership field position: you manage an independent territory, own prescription-generation targets, and shape how neurologists and psychiatrists in the region perceive Abbott's brands. For candidates with 2+ years in pharmaceutical selling, it offers MNC-grade training, structured career ladders, competitive incentives and exposure to one of India's fastest-growing specialty therapy areas.
ROLE DEFINITION & RESPONSIBILITIES
- •Deliver assigned monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets for the Neurolife CNS portfolio across the Durg territory.
- •Plan and execute daily field work — roughly 10–12 doctor calls plus chemist and stockist coverage — with minimal day-to-day supervision.
- •Generate maximum prescriptions from neurologists, psychiatrists, paediatricians and general practitioners through scientific, evidence-based detailing.
- •Log every call, coverage and frequency metric in Abbott's online SFA (sales force automation) system on a daily basis.
- •Build long-term relationships with doctors, chemists, distributors and stockists to secure product availability and sustained brand recall.
- •Execute divisional marketing campaigns, clinical meetings and CME/round-table programmes with key opinion leaders.
- •Track competitor activity, pricing and prescription trends, feeding actionable market intelligence back to the regional manager.
- •Maintain receivables hygiene and coordinate with stockists on inventory, expiry management and timely supply.
