ROLE OVERVIEW
Roche Diagnostics is seeking a Clinical Value Specialist in Mumbai to bridge clinical science and commercial adoption for its biomarker portfolio. This field-based role is central to driving procedure adoption across key hospitals and clinician specialties, including Women’s Health, Cardiology, Oncology, Gynecology, Endocrinology, and Diabetology. By owning KOL relationships and translating clinical value into actionable marketing strategies, the specialist directly influences Roche’s diagnostics growth in India. The position offers high visibility across Roche’s matrix, exposure to global marketing best practices, and the chance to shape how clinicians adopt innovative biomarkers for better patient outcomes. ROLE DEFINITION & RESPONSIBILITIES
- •Assess clinical value marker opportunities in Mumbai’s key hospitals and prioritize biomarker adoption aligned with Roche’s diagnostics strategy.
- •Own and nurture relationships with national KOLs, engaging marketing and sales teams to drive commercialization discussions.
- •Ensure follow-up and closure of commercial agreements with clinical KOLs, collaborating with lab and Roche sales teams.
- •Implement clinical marketing strategies and programs that accelerate procedure adoption for prioritized disease-area markers.
- •Develop best-in-class sales enablement assets, including presentations, brochures, videos, and competitive rebuttals.
- •Design market research to capture multi-stakeholder customer insights and translate them into actionable campaigns.
- •Execute co-branded promotional and educational programs for channel partners, hospitals, and lab marketing departments.
- •Conduct user meets, RTMs, and EGMs while ensuring compliance with corporate, regulatory, and quality standards; achieve business targets by teaching sales teams to sell value-based solutions.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Post-graduate degree (MBA, MSc, M.Pharm, MD, or equivalent) in life sciences, engineering, or a related scientific field.
- Minimum 6–8 years of relevant experience in healthcare, diagnostics, or medical device commercial roles with consistent high performance.
- Proven track record of building relationships with clinicians and key opinion leaders up to decision-making level.
- Demonstrated success in clinical marketing, product adoption, or sales enablement within hospital or laboratory settings.
- Strong strategic, analytical, and entrepreneurial mindset with ability to drive change and adopt new concepts.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including confidence presenting to senior stakeholders.
- Knowledge of healthcare compliance, regulatory, and quality standards governing diagnostics promotion.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- •Experience with Women’s Health, Cardiology, Oncology, Gynecology, Endocrinology, or Diabetology clinicians.
- •Prior diagnostics or in-vitro diagnostics (IVD) industry experience.
- •Familiarity with RTMs, EGMs, and expert group panels.
- •Global marketing collaboration experience.
- •MBA or PhD in a clinical/life sciences discipline.
