ROLE DEFINITION & RESPONSIBILITIES
Core Responsibilities
Outsourced Supply Management Setup: Lead outsourced supply management from forecast to product delivery at sponsor/investigational sites, including packaging and labeling across Medical Operations, M&S/Distribution, Clinical Supply Chain Operations, and CMC teams.
CMO Performance & Relationship Oversight: Track CMO Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), perform periodic invoice reviews, manage contract manufacturing relationships, monitor performance, and verify quality compliance.
Tracking & Chain of Custody: Ensure outsourced supply activities are integrated into Sanofi and CMO systems to maintain complete chain of custody and efficient resupply to Healthcare Professionals (HCPs).
Risk Management & Audits: Proactively identify supply risks, support monthly/quarterly business reviews, ensure audit readiness for internal/external audits, and drive timely closure of audit findings.
CAPA & Quality Assurance: Manage Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) for supply deviations and non-conformances through root cause analysis and corrective action implementation.
Compliance: Maintain strict adherence to Good Distribution Practice (GDP) and pharmaceutical quality standards, including temperature control, storage conditions, and chain of custody documentation.
Planning & Operations: Execute supply planning, perform order management against forecasts, conduct CMO RFPs, track inventory, reconcile monthly shipments, and partner with Global Supply Planning to secure supply.
Demand Forecasting: Maintain program and study demand forecasts using Kinaxis, align with financial plans (3x per year, quarterly landing exercises), and manage order backlogs.
Domain & Technical Scope
Outsourced Programs Scope: Externally Sponsored Research (ESR), Managed Access Programs (MAP), Post Trial Access (PTA), and Humanitarian Programs.
Systems & Processes: Kinaxis demand forecasting, RFP/Technical Conditions execution, inventory replenishment, and financial shipment reconciliation.
Stakeholders & Leadership Impact
Reporting & Collaboration: Report to Team Lead - Supply Operations; collaborate with Global Medical Operations, Quality, Clinical Supply Chain Operations (CSCO), Finance, CMO Project Managers, Logistics Providers, and Country Medical Teams.
