ROLE DEFINITION & RESPONSIBILITIES

Core Responsibilities

Lead the Neurovascular business unit across India and SEA with full P&L accountability, driving annual business planning, forecasting, margin management, and revenue growth.
Formulate and execute comprehensive go-to-market strategies, including market segmentation, tender management, strategic pricing, direct vs. distributor channel mix, and key account planning.
Drive commercial execution across public and private hospitals, tertiary healthcare centers, and specialized Neuro Interventional programs to achieve revenue, profitability, and market share targets.
Direct, hire, coach, and develop a high-performing regional leadership and clinical sales team across India and SEA.
Partner with Medical and Clinical Affairs to lead KOL engagement, clinical proctorships, medical evidence generation, and physician training to accelerate product adoption.
Own end-to-end launch planning and commercialization for new product introductions (NPIs), managing local clinical rollouts and hospital onboarding.
Oversee regulatory, quality, and ethical compliance across all commercial activities in collaboration with RA/QA teams.
Optimize commercial supply chain operations, demand forecasting, inventory management, and strategic distributor performance.

Technical & Domain Standards

Demonstrate deep commercial expertise in high-complexity medical devices, specifically Neurovascular, Interventional Cardiology, Peripheral Vascular, or related surgical specialties.
Maintain rigorous understanding of Indian and SEA regulatory approval processes, hospital tender mechanics, reimbursement frameworks, and device vigilance policies.

Leadership & Business Impact

Serve as the executive regional leader representing Johnson & Johnson Neurovascular across APAC regional reviews, global R&D councils, and key industry conferences.
Foster strategic alignment across matrixed global/regional stakeholders, hospital executive boards, government health authorities, and key opinion leaders (KOLs).
