ROLE OVERVIEW
Provide scientific and medical expertise in Hepatology, engage healthcare professionals and key external experts, support medical strategy, and deliver compliant scientific education and engagement activities for GSK specialty brands.
ROLE DEFINITION & RESPONSIBILITIES
- •Develop and sustain credible networks with healthcare practitioners
- •Plan and conduct CMEs, symposia, trainings, workshops, scientific meetings, and speaker tours
- •Deliver consistent on-label scientific presentations and support medical education meetings
- •Develop Hepatology expertise and maintain current knowledge of GSK molecules and prescribing information
- •Support feasibility assessment and development of research-site proposals, budgets, data-collection and monitoring tools
- •Provide medical input into brand strategy and execution
- •Support pharmacovigilance activities and maintain awareness of relevant safety responsibilities
- •Engage effectively with internal and external stakeholders including sales, marketing, healthcare professionals, and key opinion leaders
Reporting Hierarchy: Reports to Therapy Area Head Medical Affairs, Specialty and General Medicine; Works cross-functionally with medical, sales, marketing, research, pharmacovigilance, and external healthcare stakeholders

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- MBBS with postgraduate qualification
- 1-2 years of pharmaceutical industry experience, preferably in Hepatology or Gastroenterology
- Understanding of ICH-GCP and internal SOPs
- Understanding of scientific methods and experimental design
- Excellent written and oral English and local-language communication
- Strong scientific presentation and interpersonal skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- •MD/postgraduate qualification in Pharmacology, Public Health, Paediatrics, General Medicine, Community Medicine, or related specialty
- •Previous Medical Advisor or similar experience
- •In-depth specialty knowledge and experience engaging HCPs
- •Relevant therapeutic-area experience
