ROLE DEFINITION & RESPONSIBILITIES
Core Responsibilities
End-to-End AI Asset Ownership: Lead the full lifecycle design, technical framing, development, evaluation, deployment, stabilization, and business outcome measurement of enterprise AI assets and machine learning workstreams.
Production AI/ML Architecture: Architect and build scalable production pipelines across feature stores, knowledge retrieval, RAG, bounded agents, foundation models, inference APIs, persistent storage, and secure human-in-the-loop workflows.
Model Development & Rigorous Evaluation: Lead hands-on development of predictive models, NLP/deep learning components, embeddings, and agent tooling. Establish evaluation baselines, gold benchmark sets, leakage controls, calibration, robustness checks, and error taxonomies.
MLOps & LLMOps Lifecycle Operations: Implement automated MLOps/LLMOps pipelines for model versioning, data lineage, CI/CD, canary/shadow deployments, real-time drift monitoring, latency/cost SLOs, incident runbooks, and automated rollback mechanisms.
Governance, Security & Responsible AI: Embed Responsible AI practices, threat modeling, red teaming, bias detection, data privacy, and GxP validation controls into all machine learning architectures.
Technical & Domain Standards
Comprehensive mastery of production Python, SQL, distributed computing, and machine learning/deep learning frameworks.
In-depth understanding of Generative AI, RAG architectures, prompt governance, agentic tool design, and vector/graph databases.
Leadership & Collaboration
Drive cross-functional alignment across product management, engineering, enterprise architecture, security, and business stakeholders while mentoring junior and mid-level AI engineers.
