ROLE OVERVIEW
Join Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) to build the future of enterprise cloud computing in a fast-paced, high-impact organization.
ROLE DEFINITION & RESPONSIBILITIES
- •Own and build collection of services and/or technology areas as a senior software developer.
- •Understand the end-to-end architecture, call flows, configurations, technical dependencies, and overall behavioral characteristics of production services.
- •Responsible for the design, development and maintenance of the mission critical stack, with focus on security, resiliency, scale, and performance.
- •Define and develop improvements in service architecture and engineer advanced capabilities.
- •Act as ultimate escalation point for complex or critical issues and troubleshoot system dependencies.
- •Ensure appropriate changes, upgrades, and enhancements are carefully planned and executed.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelors/Masters in Computer Science and Engineering or related engineering fields
- 4+ years of experience developing and operating large scale, highly available distributed systems
- 4+ years of experience with mission critical Java backend micro services design and development
- Proficiency in Linux, Python, Terraform, CI/CD tools, networking, and system engineering.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- •Familiarity with infrastructure automation tools such as Chef, Ansible, Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes
- •Deep understanding of Cloud Computing, observability and NoSQL databases.
