Senior Medical Advisor - Heart Health

Provide strategic medical and scientific leadership, guidance, and technical oversight to commercial Business Units, Pharmacovigilance (PV), Medical Information (MI), and Clinical Research (CR) teams within the Cardiology therapeutic area.

Lead the comprehensive medical review and approval of promotional materials in strict accordance with global SOPs, regional guidelines, and local statutory regulations.

Support commercial and marketing teams in translating complex clinical data into impactful medical and brand strategies.

Partner with the Training department to deliver scientific and product training to internal sales/marketing teams and external healthcare professionals.

Ensure strict adherence to Pharmacovigilance (PV) standards across local Patient Support Programs (PSP), market research, and active online listening initiatives.

Support the Local Safety Management Team and Headquarter teams in managing local safety issues, crisis situations, and risk mitigation strategies.

Represent Bayer at external regulatory meetings and health authority discussions for Cardiology portfolio assets.

Respond comprehensively to high-level scientific and medical inquiries from physicians, institutions, and regulatory bodies.

Oversee local study development programs, Non-Interventional Studies (NIS), and Investigator-Initiated Research (IIR) in accordance with global protocols and compliance frameworks.

Act as the primary local medical expert for Global Clinical Development, participating in trial site feasibility and protocol advisory panels.

Build and cultivate strategic partnerships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), Thought Leaders (TLs), cardiology societies, and academic associations via advisory boards, symposia, and medical congresses.

Operate under Bayer's Dynamic Shared Ownership (DSO) model to foster high productivity, accelerated innovation, and reduced bureaucracy.
