ROLE DEFINITION & RESPONSIBILITIES
Core Responsibilities
Serve as the core scientific member of cross-functional franchise teams for the scientific enablement of Sun Pharma's branded portfolio across Emerging Markets.
Act as the primary scientific face to Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and physicians; oversee identification, mapping, and peer-to-peer engagement of thought leaders in target therapy areas.
Execute strategic medical affairs plans, including medical education programs, evidence generation initiatives, advisory boards, pre-license activities, and scientific projects.
Deliver balanced scientific presentations to Healthcare Professionals (HCPs) and monitor emerging clinical trends in key therapeutic areas (e.g., dermatology, oncology, diabetes).
Work closely with marketing, sales, and regulatory teams to devise training plans on recent medical developments and ensure compliant approval of promotional materials.
Conduct medical evaluation of new product opportunities via desk research and KOL interactions, and handle complex scientific queries from internal and external stakeholders.
Technical & Domain Standards
Ensure strict adherence to global medical compliance, promotional material approval processes, and ethical medical affairs standards across emerging markets.
Lead evidence generation projects and manage clinical insights conversion into strategic solutions for therapeutic area development.
Leadership & Impact
Represent the organization at internal and external global scientific platforms while building collaborative matrix team dynamics.
Translate complex clinical data into actionable strategies that shape disease management and optimize patient outcomes.
