ROLE DEFINITION & RESPONSIBILITIES
Core Responsibilities
Provide high-standard scientific and technical expertise for local medical information and engage with Key External Experts (KEEs) and Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs).
Provide medical and scientific input into regional business strategy.
Develop and maintain credible professional networks with appropriate Health Care Practitioners (HCPs).
Plan, facilitate, and conduct CMEs, symposia, training programs, workshops, scientific meetings, speaker tours, and product-specific campaigns.
Deliver consistent, scientifically accurate product messages at relevant meetings and medical education programs, including approved "on-label" communications.
Understand and support Scientific Engagement activities in accordance with Medical Plans and applicable Promotional Codes.
Develop specialist expertise in Hepatology for GSK brands and support activities associated with those brands.
Maintain current scientific knowledge of Hepatology, GSK molecules, and relevant Product Information (PI) to ensure appropriate on-label communication across platforms.
Support feasibility assessments for potential research sites and contribute to concept notes, proposals, budgets, data-collection tools, and monitoring tools for field studies.
Provide medical input into the development and execution of brand strategy.
Support the Named Safety Contact in strengthening Hepatology Pharmacovigilance activities and maintain appropriate self-learning.
Scientific & Regulatory Standards
Apply understanding of clinical approaches to disease management and conduct peer-to-peer scientific discussions with HCPs.
Understand principles and practices of ICH-GCP and internal GSK SOPs.
Understand scientific methods and experimental design.
Understand regulations governing promotional practices and adapt to evolving regulations and GSK policies concerning promotional activities and Scientific Engagement.
Maintain accurate, consistent, and compliant on-label scientific communications.
Stakeholder & Communication Responsibilities
Build and maintain relationships with KOLs, HCPs, colleagues, and other internal and external stakeholders.
Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills in English and the local language.
Present scientific topics effectively in different professional settings.
Develop good relationships with Key Opinion Leaders and facilitate high-quality external scientific engagement.
Work closely with sales, marketing, medical, and other functions in a highly technical and complex environment.
Influence and engage internal and external stakeholders effectively.
General Competencies

Education & Experience
Minimum educational requirement: MBBS with postgraduate qualification.
Preferred postgraduate qualification: Pharmacology or Public Health.
Qualifications listed include MBBS and MD/Postgraduate qualification.
Relevant specializations may include Pharmacology, Paediatrics, General Medicine, Community Medicine, or related areas.
