ROLE OVERVIEW
Scientific Writer – Health Economics and Value Assessment (HEVA) develops high-quality HEVA communications and evidence-based content supporting product value, access, and reimbursement decisions across global business units.
ROLE DEFINITION & RESPONSIBILITIES
- •Create HEVA manuscripts, posters, abstracts, and slide decks aligned with HEVA strategy and global communication plans
- •Manage HEVA communication processes, templates, products, and Core Value Decks across the portfolio
- •Develop complex publication materials and provide therapeutic-area scientific communication expertise
- •Conduct or support comprehensive publication-needs analysis and implement publication-plan activities
- •Maintain compliance with publication SOPs and applicable HEVA communication requirements
- •Collaborate with HEVA, RWE, Medical, Scientific Communication, and product teams globally and locally
- •Interact with healthcare professionals and stakeholders regarding publication content
- •Work with selected regional vendors to deliver agreed communication outputs
Reporting Hierarchy: Reports to Head/Group Lead/Team Lead, HEVA; collaborates with HEVA, RWE, Medical, Scientific Communication, and product stakeholders

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- More than 2 years of experience in content creation for the pharmaceutical/healthcare industry or academia
- Advanced degree in life sciences, pharmacy, similar discipline, or medical degree
- Relevant training or experience in health economics, public health, epidemiology, or another relevant health-related scientific discipline
- Excellent spoken and written English
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- •Knowledge of Good Publication Practice
- •Experience with publication submission processes
- •Project management experience
- •Therapeutic-area or domain expertise
- •Experience with HEVA, RWE, medical communications, or evidence-generation activities
