ROLE OVERVIEW
Roche is hiring a Senior Medical Writer for its Roche Services & Solutions Centre in Hyderabad, working within the Global Digital Hub. The role involves producing scientific and medical content for digital use while mentoring and coaching other writers on the team.
ROLE DEFINITION & RESPONSIBILITIES
- •Create medical writing and digital content solutions for business partners across various therapeutic areas
- •Collaborate with medical, scientific and commercial teams to understand client needs and produce tailored scientific content for digital use
- •Manage several concurrent projects across therapeutic areas and deliver within agreed timelines
- •Ensure content, format and structure comply with regulatory guidelines and Roche best practices
- •Monitor assigned tasks, manage own workload and anticipate capacity issues with possible solutions
- •Mentor and technically coach other medical writers and new team members, driving cross-team upskilling
- •Act as a subject matter expert and advisor on medical writing and communications, leading assigned therapeutic areas
- •Partner with Digital Hub Chapter Leads and Business Partners and support cross-functional initiatives
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Advanced degree in a biological science or medical discipline
- 7+ years of medical writing experience, ideally within an agency setting
- Native-level written and spoken English
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment and prioritise tasks
- Capability to coordinate people across multiple organisations and countries
- Ability to manage key global stakeholders
