ROLE OVERVIEW
Pfizer is hiring a Manager, Data Sharing & Disclosure in Chennai to handle operational execution, oversight and compliance for its clinical trial disclosure and data sharing commitments. The role coordinates trial registrations and results postings on public registries and manages internal and external clinical trial data requests.
ROLE DEFINITION & RESPONSIBILITIES
- •Act as point of contact for internal and external clinical trial data requests, triaging them for completeness and following up with stakeholders
- •Track the status of all clinical trial data requests, identify those at risk of delay and work with stakeholders to resolve them
- •Oversee registration of clinical trial information and posting of study results on ClinicalTrials.gov, EudraCT and Pfizer.com for products in remit
- •Conduct quality reviews of disclosure deliverables and gather metrics for drug programmes within remit
- •Partner with study teams in clinical, medical, legal, statistics and external business partners so registrations and results postings meet internal policy and registry requirements
- •Contribute to shaping Pfizer's data sharing and disclosure policies and serve as subject matter expert communicating them to internal and external audiences
- •Track project performance against short- and long-term goals, meet budgetary objectives and adjust to project constraints based on financial analysis
- •Lead cross-functional communication between project teams and external vendors, and coordinate with outside vendors
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 5–10 years working in the pharmaceutical industry in a project management capacity
- Strong track record for delivery
- Experience with drug discovery and development in a global matrix organization
- Detailed knowledge of clinical trial and regulatory operations processes, data and supporting systems and tools
- Detailed knowledge of product development processes such as Agile and a strong understanding of clinical development
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- •MBA, MS/BS in a relevant discipline
