ROLE OVERVIEW

GSK is hiring a Senior Manager - Business System Owner in Bengaluru to own the digital products, business intelligence tools and data access solutions behind enterprise quality performance management. The role covers requirement gathering with quality process owners, validation and GxP compliance, product backlog and roadmap ownership, and project delivery with external partners.

ROLE DEFINITION & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • •Run business requirement gathering and workshops across Quality processes with global business process owners and subject matter experts
  • •Define priorities and coordinate with the technology team, including testing strategy, test coverage and business validation activities
  • •Own the product backlog and roadmap for quality performance management and data access, and track usage of those products
  • •Maintain testing documentation and defect logs for the systems in scope
  • •Ensure products comply with GxP, validation, internal security and risk policies, Smart Controls, IT/OT security and QMS procedures, and prepare or approve validation documentation
  • •Apply GSK project management methods to proof-of-concept, proof-of-value and industrialization work on complex strategic systems using risk-based approaches
  • •Support preparation of project investment proposals and submission documents for capital budget approval
  • •Manage external partner and supplier relationships, and act as a change agent driving go-to-market strategy and adoption
  • •Translate business requirements into Power BI or similar business intelligence tools, separating GMP from non-GMP needs by use case

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 10+ years of project and/or programme management experience, including prioritising and delegating project team activities within Agile frameworks
  • Demonstrated ability to manage validation, deployment, change management and inspection support of large, complex computerized systems
  • Experience executing strategic business projects with responsibility for risk and problem management, schedule and budget management
  • Ability to manage strategic supplier relationships
  • Ability to lead and manage globally distributed virtual matrix teams
  • Change management skills and effective written and verbal communication tailored to varied audiences
  • Resilient, self-motivated, and able to influence with or without authority above and below one's level
  • Demonstrated cross-organisational communication in a matrix environment, supporting and challenging stakeholders and agile product development teams
  • Earlier application of computer systems validation principles: user requirements, design specification, test cycles and system release
  • Proven track record of innovation, continuous improvement, problem-solving and questioning the current state of affairs to adopt future technologies
