ROLE OVERVIEW

Pfizer is hiring an Associate - GMP Training in Vizag. The role manages GMP training records, learning management system curricula, and compliance training for manufacturing staff.

ROLE DEFINITION & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • •Manage curricula and item management, training assignments, and Record Learning in the LMS.
  • •Handle archiving and retention of training records.
  • •Assign site, induction, and other required training for new hires (colleagues, contingent workers, service providers) and track orientation completion timelines.
  • •Process curricula modification and learning plan modification requests, including adding/removing items, editing metadata, changing ownership, and inactivation.
  • •Initiate curriculum content reviews by preparing ownership-based review lists for curriculum owners.
  • •Assign Alternate/Primary Job Codes (AJC) and direct curricula upon request.
  • •Ensure good documentation and data integrity for handwritten training records before PLA-MEL entry; act as a Learning Plan Manager for profiles and libraries.
  • •Provide or coordinate LMS training for new users, managers, schedulers, report generators, and record administrators; run reports and collect training metrics data; publish Knowledge Assessments (KA) in PLA-MEL and upload signed KA to the GMP shared folder; manually create/update/inactivate items and configure metadata/settings and due dates.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • B.Pharm, M.Pharm or MSc with 4-8 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Sterile injectables experience.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Solid understanding of GMP and regulatory training compliance.
  • Experience in technical training.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Word and PowerPoint.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

  • •Experience using common AI tools, including generative technologies such as ChatGPT or Microsoft Copilot, to support problem solving and enhance productivity.
  • •Demonstrated curiosity for exploring how these tools can improve outcomes and understanding of responsible AI practices, including risk management and ethical use.
