ROLE DEFINITION & RESPONSIBILITIES

Core Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end planning and execution of Medical Education and Medical Communications events across virtual, hybrid and in-person formats, ensuring objectives, timelines and quality standards are met.
Serve as the key coordination point across Scientific, Medical, Content, Design, Legal, Regulatory and IT teams, as well as external agencies, speakers and vendors.
Own document and deliverable readiness, including timelines, contracting through platforms, content accuracy, formatting and coordination of compliance checks.
Support vendor selection and manage scope, deliverables, service levels and contract timelines in collaboration with Procurement and Legal.
Identify and implement improvements to digital communication channels, including templates, automation, audience-engagement tools and reporting dashboards.
Maintain risk and issue trackers, contingency plans and escalation paths, identifying mitigation actions early throughout the project lifecycle.
Drive continuous improvement through lessons learned, process enhancements and adoption of best practices.

Required Qualifications & Domain Expertise

M.Sc. or MBA qualification.

Strong project planning, prioritisation and multi-workstream management capability.
Excellent communication skills and ability to influence and align diverse internal and external stakeholders.
Experience partnering on contracts and vendor management, including scope, deliverables, service levels and timelines.
Proficiency with digital tools and process improvement, ideally supported by basic analytics and reporting capabilities.

Leadership & Impact

Provide structured project leadership across complex, multi-partner medical communications programmes.
Maintain ownership, execution discipline and quality while coordinating multiple stakeholders and workstreams.
Identify risks and issues proactively and establish mitigation, contingency and escalation mechanisms.
