ROLE OVERVIEW
Clinical Data Management SAS Programmer responsible for programming and managing clinical data using SAS, SQL, macros, and related tools. The role supports clinical data processing, reporting, dataset creation, vendor imports, and delivery of high-quality clinical data outputs.
ROLE DEFINITION & RESPONSIBILITIES
- •Create and manage SAS datasets from raw clinical data
- •Perform data import programming and manage clinical data structures
- •Generate reports and listings using PROC PRINT, PROC FREQ, PROC MEANS, PROC TRANSPOSE, and PROC SQL
- •Develop project-specific SAS macros and formats
- •Create status and efficacy datasets
- •Load and transform client data from other platforms
- •Prepare clinical data outputs and reports for clients

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline
- Minimum 2 years of applications programming experience or equivalent specialized IT experience
- Clinical or healthcare domain experience
- Clinical SAS programming experience
- Knowledge of SAS Base, Advanced SAS, Macros, SQL, and SAS Grid
- Knowledge of clinical phases and clinical data management
