Regional Medical Advisor – Oncology (Breast Cancer)
By Admin · Medical Affairs & MSL
ROLE OVERVIEW
AstraZeneca's Regional Medical Advisor – Oncology (Breast Cancer) is a field-based scientific leadership position anchoring the company's medical strategy across Karnataka. As the recognised scientific expert for the breast cancer portfolio in the region, the advisor translates complex clinical and health-economic evidence into credible peer-to-peer dialogue with oncologists, pathologists, government bodies, patient advocacy groups and payer stakeholders. The role matters clinically and commercially: breast cancer remains one of AstraZeneca's flagship franchises, and scientifically informed engagement directly shapes guideline adoption, investigator-sponsored research and equitable patient access. For candidates, this is a rare platform combining deep therapeutic-area ownership, evidence-generation exposure and cross-functional visibility with global medical, clinical development and market access teams — a strong springboard into senior medical affairs leadership in India and beyond.
