ROLE DEFINITION & RESPONSIBILITIES
Serve as Subject Matter Expert for enterprise Linux platforms (RHEL, Ubuntu, Amazon Linux, SLES) across hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
Lead adoption and engineering of Ansible Automation Platform (AAP) to deliver Linux as a Service using Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
Apply GitOps principles, Event-Driven Ansible rulebooks, and CI/CD pipelines to manage enterprise configuration drift and automated patching.
Enforce system security standards (CIS benchmarks, SELinux, sudo rules) and maintain SOX compliance across Linux infrastructure.
Design high-availability architectures, disaster recovery plans with Zerto, Pacemaker clusters, and cloud platform integrations (AWS, Azure).
Maintain Red Hat Satellite, enterprise LDAP/Centrify authentication, and manage automated deployment scripts.
