ROLE DEFINITION & RESPONSIBILITIES
Role Overview
As an Adv Supply Chain Process Professional II within the Global Business Services (GBS) Supply Chain unit, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring Novo Nordisk products reach patients seamlessly from initial launch through eventual discontinuation. The position acts as a vital bridge between commercial goals and operational reality, driving alignment across global regions, functions, and systems.
Core Responsibilities
Launch Coordination: Lead end-to-end operational coordination for new product launches, monitor forecasts, evaluate production capacity, oversee post-launch deliveries, maintain the Launch Tool for KPI tracking, and escalate risks to secure on-time execution.
Product Discontinuation: Act as the primary point of contact for discontinuation requests, lead coordination groups, manage global Change Request (CR) cases, oversee SKU deactivation schedules, and minimize excess production and market shortages alongside Brand Partners, Planning, and S&OE teams.
Cross-Functional Project Management: Manage launch and phase-out projects end-to-end, serving as the central liaison between Regulatory Affairs, Commercial, SoOP, Master Data, Supply Chain Planning (SCP), Affiliates, and senior leadership, while maintaining rigorous project documentation, milestone trackers, and action logs.
Planning, Execution & Feasibility: Consolidate inputs to conduct feasibility assessments with planners, master data, and labelling teams; coordinate launch/discontinuation batch schedules to ensure synchronized resource allocation; and escalate capacity constraints for rapid resolution.
Process Improvement & Compliance: Spearhead operational initiatives to streamline workflows, eliminate bottlenecks, optimize resource utilization, and accelerate decision-making while ensuring full adherence to regulatory mandates, internal guiding principles, and executive KPI reporting.
