Senior Technical Engineer – LabVantage Master Data

Lead the design, build, configuration, and automation of analytical test methods, specifications, and associated master data within LabVantage LIMS.

Implement standardized, scalable test templates, parameter lists, metadata structures (units, limits, calculations), and result entry templates across manufacturing sites and products.

Develop custom scripts, business rules, and LabVantage SDK components to automate laboratory data workflows, transfers, and verification processes.

Deliver Level 3 (L3) engineering support, root cause analysis, and incident resolution in coordination with global data teams and site laboratory staff.

Coordinate and develop instrument drivers and integrations to capture data directly into LabVantage from chromatography and analytical systems (e.g., Empower, Chromeleon, SmartLab, Darwin).

Ensure smooth data exchange across interconnected systems including ERP, ELN, QMS, environmental monitoring, and advanced analytics platforms.

Author and maintain GxP-compliant design specifications, configuration documentation, technical SOPs, and Computer System Validation (CSV) protocols for IQ/OQ/PQ.

Deep expertise in LabVantage LIMS Master Data architecture, configuration, and custom SDK extension development.

In-depth understanding of analytical laboratory workflows, chromatography data systems (CDS), and direct instrument interfacing.

Rigorous compliance with GxP, ALCOA+ data integrity principles, 21 CFR Part 11, and Annex 11 regulatory frameworks.

Experience with requirement traceability, defect tracking, and change control using tools like Jira, ServiceNow, ALM, and Git.

Serve as the principal technical SME for LabVantage Master Data management, mentoring junior engineers and site data stewards.

Partner with global IT, digital transformation, quality assurance, and laboratory operations teams to establish unified onboarding standards for test methods and instruments.

Drive digital laboratory transformation, continuous process improvement, and automation to eliminate manual laboratory data entry.
