ROLE DEFINITION & RESPONSIBILITIES

Role Overview

Sanofi Business Operations (BO) is looking for an experienced Senior Scientific Writer to join its global delivery team in Hyderabad. In this role, you will autonomously develop complex, specialized medical publications and educational content across key therapeutic areas, manage end-to-end approval workflows, and mentor junior writers while partnering directly with global medical affairs teams.

Core Responsibilities

End-to-End Publication Development: Autonomously write, edit, and deliver complex scientific publications and medical education deliverables, including peer-reviewed manuscripts, congress abstracts, scientific posters, and oral presentation slide decks.

Content Approval & Compliance: Lead documentation, peer review, and formal medical/legal approval processes within standard industry platforms like Veeva PromoMats and iEnvision (formerly Datavision/MATRIX).

Strategic Collaboration: Partner with global and regional scientific communication leads, Healthcare Professionals (HCPs), and key opinion leaders (KOLs) to conduct publication gap analyses and execute annual publication plans.

Team Coaching & Review: Review and quality-check content prepared by junior scientific writers, sharing therapeutic domain knowledge and best practices.

Vendor & Project Oversight: Collaborate with external agencies and regional vendors to supervise deliverables, ensuring adherence to quality benchmarks, SOPs, and project timelines.

Technical & Domain Standards

Therapeutic Area Mastery: Maintain cutting-edge scientific expertise in assigned disease domains across Specialty Care, Vaccines, General Medicines, or R&D portfolios.

Training & Dissemination: Leverage advanced training delivery tools and techniques to enhance educational content effectiveness based on stakeholder feedback.
