ROLE DEFINITION & RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead medium to high complexity supplier transfer and cost optimization initiatives through engineering analysis and supplier collaboration.
Perform design and engineering documentation gap assessments, manufacturing print reviews, and remediation for RFQ activities.
Create, review, and refine 2D drawings and 3D CAD models, including component reverse engineering.
Review and validate engineering drawings for DFMA, manufacturability, accuracy, and completeness per engineering standards.
Execute engineering change management procedures using PDM/PLM systems such as Agile and Windchill.
Conduct should-costing, material analysis, financial assessments, and spend analytics to drive cost reduction initiatives.
Coordinate with global suppliers and cross-functional teams to resolve technical queries and execute strategic savings programs.
