ROLE OVERVIEW
Lead complex, cross-functional scientific learning initiatives for Pfizer's Medical Academy, developing best-in-class e-learning and blended learning programs that strengthen Medical Affairs capabilities and therapeutic-area expertise.
ROLE DEFINITION & RESPONSIBILITIES
- •Create curricula and curate or develop learning resources with clear instructional goals and learning objectives
- •Partner with agencies to develop interactive and engaging learning resources
- •Collaborate with Learning Systems teams to upload resources and improve user experience
- •Research, evaluate and integrate emerging e-learning trends and technologies
- •Revamp and update existing e-learning resources
- •Manage multiple complex projects, competing priorities and cross-functional stakeholders
- •Support delivery of learning programs within timelines and budget
Reporting Hierarchy: Reports to the relevant Medical Academy Scientific Learning leadership; collaborates with Scientific Directors, Content Leads, Medical Leads, Learning Systems teams, agencies and therapeutic-area partners in a global matrix environment

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree with 7+ years of experience or Master's degree with 5+ years of experience or equivalent terminal doctoral degree such as PharmD, PhD or MD with 2+ years of pharmaceutical industry experience
- Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities
- Cross-functional collaboration experience
- Agency management experience
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Strong strategic, analytical and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently in a matrix environment
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- •PhD, PharmD or equivalent doctoral degree
- •Instructional design and curriculum development experience
- •Digital learning technology experience
- •Medical Affairs experience
- •Therapeutic-area experience in vaccines, internal medicine, inflammation and immunology, oncology or rare disease
