ROLE DEFINITION & RESPONSIBILITIES
Core Responsibilities
Ensure full achievement of monthly, quarterly, and annual territory sales budgets for assigned pharmaceutical and healthcare product portfolios across Delhi.
Perform sales analytics to identify key growth drivers, target medical practitioners, and optimize doctor call frequencies based on category priority (A, B, C classification).
Execute meticulous one-to-one product detailing to physicians, consultants, and hospital staff, highlighting clinical efficacy, trial findings, and unique product features.
Conduct regular field visits to chemists, wholesalers, and key retail accounts to track product availability, secure orders, capture competitor intelligence, and deploy point-of-sale promotional displays.
Organize and manage Continuing Medical Education (CME) programs, group speaker meetings, round-table discussions, and taxi tours in micro-interiors to engage Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and doctors.
Monitor hospital procurement trends, institutional drug budgets, rate contracts, and drug committee members across nursing homes, clinics, and major hospitals.
Track inventory levels in coordination with Carrying and Forwarding Agents (CFA) and manage trade receivables collection when required.
Ensure immediate reporting of safety adverse events and product quality complaints in accordance with Pfizer standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Technical & Domain Standards
Maintain strict adherence to Pfizer corporate compliance standards, local healthcare regulations, and approved field tour programs.
Utilize enterprise sales force automation software and digital technology solutions for accurate daily call logging, expense accounting, and territory planning.
Oversee proper allocation, accounting, and ethical distribution of product samples and detailing aids.
Leadership & Impact
Mentor Trainee Professional Sales Officers (PSOs) and field trainees assigned to the territory.
Collaborate with District Managers to refine rolling sales forecasts, manage salvage net, and align micro-territorial strategies.
