ROLE DEFINITION & RESPONSIBILITIES
Indegene is hiring a Scientific Editor for its Bengaluru location. This role offers the opportunity to work on global healthcare and pharmaceutical projects.
Key Responsibilities
Proofreading
Review deliverables using quality checklists.
Verify consistency between source documents and final outputs.
Check grammar, formatting, style, alignment, and language.
Suggest editorial improvements.
Copy Editing
Convert scientific language into reader-friendly English.
Edit content for clarity, readability, and accuracy.
Apply AMA, Vancouver, and client-specific style guides.
Identify inconsistencies and scientific data conflicts.
Improve logical flow and document quality.
Compliance
Follow ISMS, ISO, CMMI, and organizational quality standards.
Maintain confidentiality and copyright compliance.
Ensure adherence to client guidelines.
Learning & Development
Participate in internal training.
Develop reviewing and editing expertise.
Support continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications & Experience
Any Graduate (Life Sciences background preferred).
2–6 years of experience in scientific editing, medical communications, or healthcare content quality review.
