ROLE DEFINITION & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • •Manage end-to-end delivery of publication and medical education projects, including slide decks, abstracts, posters, manuscripts, and advisory board materials, against agreed timelines and quality standards.
  • •Develop scope-of-work documents, project schedules, risk registers, and resourcing plans with scientific writers and internal medical stakeholders across global teams.
  • •Coordinate submission, approval, and compliance workflows in iEnvision, PromoMats, and related publication management systems, initiating amendments based on reviewer comments.
  • •Track external spend, purchase orders, goods receipt, and budget adherence while supporting vendor governance and financial reconciliation for assigned deliverables.
  • •Organize key internal and external stakeholder meetings, publication planning reviews, medical events, and advisory boards, ensuring clear documentation and follow-up actions.
  • •Lead, mentor, and develop associate project specialists and project managers through goal-setting, performance reviews, coaching, onboarding, and capability-building initiatives.
  • •Maintain integrated scientific communication plans with quarterly updates, collaborate with medical content enhancement teams, and support ServiceNow workflow implementation for reporting.
  • •Drive process standardization, BOOM operating model adherence, mandatory training compliance, and continuous improvement across Scientific Communications hubs.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • University graduate degree, preferably in life sciences, pharmacy, biomedical sciences, or related discipline.
  • Advanced/postgraduate degree in life sciences, pharmacy, or similar field is highly desirable.
  • More than 8 years post-qualification experience in medical communications, scientific writing, publication management, or medical affairs operations.
  • Proven project management experience in pharma, CRO, medical communications agency, or shared services environment.
  • Demonstrated people leadership, including mentoring, performance management, and team capability development.
  • Strong understanding of publication processes, compliance requirements, and end-to-end medical education delivery.
  • Excellent spoken and written English, with ability to work across global, matrixed teams and time zones.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
