ROLE DEFINITION & RESPONSIBILITIES
- •Coordinate end-to-end project management support for scientific writers, ensuring timely delivery of publications and medical education deliverables across all phases.
- •Initiate and amend submission packages based on stakeholder comments, and track delivery milestones, issues, and risks for assigned projects.
- •Support internal and external stakeholder communication, including scientific communication teams, medical content enhancement, and external vendors.
- •Manage submission and compliance approvals using publication management tools such as iEnvision and compliance platforms like PromoMats and NAYA.
- •Assist with budget management for assigned publications, including external spend tracking, purchase orders, and goods received approvals.
- •Ensure publication and medical education materials are stored, version-controlled, and delivered according to agreed timelines and quality standards.
- •Collaborate with Project Specialists and Project Managers to streamline SBO operations, leverage new technologies, and improve productivity.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- University degree in life sciences, pharmacy, or a related scientific discipline; advanced degree (MSc, M.Pharm, PharmD, PhD) preferred.
- 2–4 years of post-qualification experience in medical communications, scientific writing support, or publication management within pharma or CRO.
- Demonstrated understanding of publication processes, including abstracts, posters, manuscripts, and slide decks.
- Experience with publication management tools such as iEnvision (formerly Datavision/Matrix) and compliance platforms like PromoMats or NAYA.
- Strong project management skills with ability to manage multiple deliverables, timelines, and budgets simultaneously.
- Excellent spoken and written English, with proven stakeholder communication and coordination abilities.
- Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements for medical publications, including GPP and ICMJE guidelines.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- •Experience in global medical affairs or SBO environment
- •Familiarity with Veeva Vault PromoMats
- •Knowledge of HEOR/HEVA deliverables
