ROLE DEFINITION & RESPONSIBILITIES
Core Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive Third-Party Risk Assessments (TPRM) and vendor due diligence, evaluating third-party products and services against internal security and risk policies.
Regularly monitor vendor performance, risk exposure profiles, and remediation roadmaps in coordination with global procurement and legal teams.
Collaborate closely with procurement functions to strengthen internal controls and ensure policy adherence across the end-to-end (E2E) procurement lifecycle.
Generate and maintain structured reporting dashboards tracking TPRM metrics, vendor risk factors, compliance KPIs, and audit readiness for leadership review.
Partner with Global Business Units (GBUs) and domain risk experts to embed structured risk management governance into supplier lifecycles.
Drive continuous process improvements across third-party risk evaluation workflows to increase operational efficiency.
Technical & Domain Standards
Strong foundational knowledge of Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM), risk control frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, GDPR), and supplier risk governance.
Practical hands-on experience using risk assessment tools and vendor management platforms (e.g., OneTrust, Ariba, CRA, Coupa Analytics).
Proven capability to build interactive compliance dashboards and visual metrics reports using tools such as Power BI.
Ability to review, analyze, and interpret security and data privacy clauses within third-party supplier contracts.
Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration
Act as an integral risk assurance interface across Procurement, Legal, Corporate Functions, and Global Business Units.
Communicate complex technical risk findings and compliance concepts clearly to diverse non-technical stakeholders.
Support Sanofi's global Business Operations transformation strategy by driving standardized, scalable risk governance.
