ROLE DEFINITION & RESPONSIBILITIES
Role Overview
Medtronic is seeking a Principal IT Project Lead - Supply Chain Planning to join its team in Nanakramguda, Hyderabad, India under a flexible work arrangement. This senior leadership role drives strategic, cross-functional digital transformation and technology programs across global supply chain planning capabilities, including Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Inventory Management, and Manufacturing Planning.
Core Responsibilities
Strategic Roadmap & Execution: Partner with business and IT leadership to build strategic technology roadmaps, prioritize digital investments, and lead business transformation enabled by automation, advanced analytics, and AI capabilities.
Program Governance & Delivery: Establish and maintain enterprise program governance frameworks, operating rhythms, risk mitigation strategies, dependency tracking, and executive reporting across complex transformation portfolios.
Business Partnership & Transformation: Act as a trusted advisor to global Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Planning, Procurement, and Operations leaders to align business objectives with enterprise technology solutions.
Financial & Benefits Realization: Author business cases, investment proposals, and budget forecasts; track portfolio financial performance, KPIs, and value realization metrics to justify strategic IT investments.
Stakeholder Influence & Steering: Facilitate executive steering committees and governance forums, communicating strategic roadmaps, delivery commitments, risks, and performance metrics to leadership audiences.
PMO Maturity & Mentorship: Elevate organizational project management maturity, establish delivery best practices, and mentor project managers across global delivery teams.
Technical & Domain Standards
Deep understanding of end-to-end supply chain planning processes (Demand/Supply Planning, Inventory Management, Manufacturing Execution).
Expertise in enterprise planning solutions (e.g., SAP IBP, Blue Yonder/JDA, Kinaxis, OMP, SAP APO, or ERP systems).
Deployment and scaling of AI, automation, and advanced data analytics across operational supply chains.
