ROLE OVERVIEW

Senior clinical programming leadership role focused on Rave EDC programming, custom functions, clinical database development, technical support, study oversight, quality review, and program-level leadership across multiple clinical studies.

ROLE DEFINITION & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • •Develop and maintain Rave EDC custom functions and clinical programming solutions
  • •Lead migration, Publish Check, PPC, TSDV, and Study Build programming activities
  • •Provide technical support and administration for Medidata Rave, Oracle and SAS-related applications
  • •Develop and maintain specifications, coding, validation documentation, edit checks, imports, exports, listings, and custom reports
  • •Monitor application performance, workflow alerts, system errors, and programming defects
  • •Lead development activities across clinical programming projects and communicate scope, budget, resource, and timeline risks
  • •Provide senior review and quality oversight for multi-study clinical programming deliveries
  • •Oversee multiple concurrent studies and mentor clinical programmers
  • •Support vendor management, upgrades, integrations, audits, and change orders
  • •Contribute to SOPs, training, professional development, and program-level clinical programming operations
Reporting Hierarchy: Provides program-level leadership and oversight across clinical programming teams, project teams, lead programmers, clients, vendors, and management; May supervise clinical programmers and oversee multiple concurrent studies

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 10+ years of overall experience
  • Minimum 2+ years of Custom Functions programming experience
  • Rave Programming experience
  • Custom Functions Programming experience at moderate to complex level
  • Migration exposure
  • Publish Check experience
  • PPC experience
  • TSDV experience
  • Study Build programming experience
  • SDBE Rave certification
  • Strong clinical programming and clinical data management knowledge

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • •Veeva CDMS experience
  • •Experience with Oracle OC/RDC and Oracle Inform
  • •Experience with SAS and supplemental clinical programming tools
  • •Experience leading multiple concurrent studies
