ROLE OVERVIEW
Pfizer is hiring a Senior Associate, Data Manager, Clinical Data Sciences in Mumbai on a hybrid basis. The role manages clinical trial data monitoring and management activities and works with local and global experts to maintain data quality.
ROLE DEFINITION & RESPONSIBILITIES
- •Support moderately complex projects by planning time and setting short-term work plans to meet targets.
- •Serve as Data Manager for clinical trials and oversee Data Monitoring and Management activities.
- •Work with partners and colleagues to apply standards and prepare data cleaning reports.
- •Keep Data Monitoring and Management deliverables at a high standard and maintain data quality and completeness according to the Data Management Plan.
- •Record and share study lessons so learning can be applied across studies.
- •Build working relationships with local and global subject matter experts, identify issues early, and help develop solutions.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- BA/BS with at least 2 years of experience, or MBA/MS with any years of experience.
- Knowledge of data management processes and principles.
- Proficiency in web-based data management systems.
- Working knowledge of electronic document management systems.
- Familiarity with ICH Good Clinical Practice.
- Understanding of clinical study management and regulatory operations processes.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- •Master's degree.
- •Relevant pharmaceutical industry experience.
- •Experience using data visualization tools.
- •Experience using commercial clinical data management systems and/or EDC products.
- •Awareness of regulatory requirements and relevant data standards.
- •Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- •Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- •Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- •Experience using common AI tools, including generative technologies such as ChatGPT or Microsoft Copilot, to support problem solving and productivity.
- •Curiosity for exploring how these tools can improve outcomes and understanding of responsible AI practices, including risk management and ethical use.
